This is a picture of Mr W.D d’Leny Agricultural Division Chairman, presenting retirement gifts to Miss Maysey Stewart. Miss Audrey Milburn, who succeeds Miss Stewart as Head of Division Travel and Visitors Section, is on the left. Miss Milburn was recently engaged at around this time as I remember my aunt being excited about it and a ring on her finger demonstrates this. I had met miss Milburn on several occasions when she used to visit my Aunt at her home in Collins Avenue. Norton. The gift of the radio I remember as we used it at Miss Stewart’s home in Norton to listen to the latest 1960’s Beatles’ hits played on local radio eternally it seemed. 13/04/2007 12:13:12
