Yes, North Tees “B” appears in the background of this picture; it is the building with two stacks just to the right of the “C” station coal conveyor belt. Further to the right, with a single wider stack, is the North Tees “A” plant. This is a nice shot showing all three of the power stations at North Tees. The only other picture currently on the internet, other than those on the Picture Stockton website, is in the historical photographs section of the National Monument Record site. This photograph is an external view of “C” station after closure – they do hold other photographs taken at this time and also some aerial photos taken during the construction. National Monument Record is the public archive of English Heritage (based in Swindon) and they will sell copies of their photographs, subject to copyright conditions, at a modest price for photocopies – scans and photographic prints are much more expensive. I am sure that there are other photographs available, it’s just a matter of finding where they are!12/03/2010 11:57:16

Is this really a picture, or a drawing, which has been based on a photograph, or series of photographs? The shading in the clouds and river does not looks quite natural. If so there may be another set of photos locked away, somewhere. 12/03/2010 14:46:58
